Snowed In

For any more snow that may be headed our way this winter, I have two words: Go. Away. A few snow-filled weekends might be more tolerable if we didn't have weeks of rain, clouds, freezing temps and absolutely no rays of sunshine inbetween. A couple of weeks ago found the local news predicting "Another Blizzard of '93?" in the headlines. The worst part? We were legitemately out of milk and bread. Not a scrap left in the house! Since we had just had a snow day a few weeks prior, our kids were not very excited about this snow. Kendall and I took a walk in the snow as it began to fall, but otherwise our total snow play-time was about 20 minutes. The rest of the weekend found us bored to tears. We had to get creative to fill the time.
