I think it worked out well that the Westin didn't have a room with double beds. Our kids have the classic "must jump on hotel bed" syndrome when given the chance.
I think they must have been saying "Going to IKEA is SOOOO much fun!!!!"
Silly Faces in the Georgia Dome for the So You Think You Can Tumble competition on Friday night.
We rode an escalator absolutely no fewer than 165 times last weekend. Luckily, Kendall didn't really notice when her pants got stuck in the escalator and Mommy almost fainted from fear.
The kids were a little disappointed that it was too cold to play in the fountains. They did, however, enjoy watching "the funny man" run through them at 9PM with all of his clothes on (luckily) while the Little Mermaid's "Under the Sea" was playing over the Centennial Olympic Park speakers.
We decided not to tell the kids that we were on our way to see Kara and Kori. We aren't great at keeping secrets, but this one was well worth it! Here, they have no clue why we're standing around doing nothing. We told them we were trying to figure out where to eat dinner! Up until this point, they thought we had travelled 3 hours to swim in the hotel pool all weekend.
Apologies for our incredible absence from the blogosphere lately. Please see all notations of dreary, boring, cold days. However, we're looking forward to blogging about Cheer Force One, Daddy's birthday and yet another snowy weekend.
