Hiwassee, Georgia Part III

On our second and final day in Hiawassee, we were pretty lazy while cleaning up, packing and nursing Kendall's fever of 102. However, a promise was made to Kali that we would all play tennis, so, a promise is a promise.

They look like they should definitely be a tennis family!
I don't think this is what tennis courts are meant for. At least, I've never actually chased an opponent or my partner while playing!!
Kali was the only official "tennis player" on the courts.
I don't think Chip cared for the paparazzi on the court.
Cooper takes a rest...Not sure it's advisable to rest ON your racquet, but oh well!
Look at that form, Kori!
We made a stop on the way home at the site of the 1996 Olympics on the Ocoee River. They had stopped the water that day, Labor Day. We were hoping to watch all the professionals ride the river!
This was Kendall about an hour before we finished our walk around the river...which we then discovered her fever was back to 102. Poor little girl!
Cooper took a rest towards the end of the trail. The kids were disappointed to not see the rafters and also that we were unable to find a good spot to wade in the water.
And I think that about does it for the Hiawassee posts. The rest of that week you all already know about...Kendall's fever stuck around all week and she had her second positive step test in as many weeks. Hopefully that is well behind her.
